I had an unplanned visit to Cake Life Bake Shop in Fishtown while out for a walk and I fell in love with the lure of toasted coconut and the sexy red cherry topping this cupcake in their case. I couldn't get over the perfect balance of fluffy yellow cake bottom, covered by an equally big ball of the most delicious cream cheese icing, coated in toasted coconut; I had dreams about it !

I hadn't planned to paint the next day but I couldn't stop thinking I needed to move fast, before there was none left! Fortunately the bakery known for baking Beyoncé's birthday cake is only a few blocks from my studio. It was a good day.
