From the Foodie series.

This painting was a challenge for a number of reasons, one of which was having the self control not to just eat it! My favorite local taqueria, Loco Pez in Fishtown (Philadelphia), offered me a batch of their freshly made guacamole and chips for this commission. They were even kind enough to lend me the bowl to place it in. I am addicted to their chips so it was especially difficult to not just keep eating them while painting.

I am so glad to have the chance to feature another local maker in my series of food paintings.
