Hillacres Pride is three generations of the Arrowsmilth family farm at Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania, in southern Lancaster County. When I came across this at the Headhouse Farmer's market, they handed me this incredibly lovely little wheel with the cutest name ever. I frankly fell in love with the idea of having a painting called "Puddle Duck". Go on, say it, you know you want to repeat it out loud. This cheese is as delightful as the sound of it. This pasteurized creamy, oozy nugget comes from their heard of Jerseys and I'm so happy to add another cheese portrait to my home state.
