Fougerus is pronounced (foo-zheh-ROO) and is considered one of the best Brie-style cheeses. This Northern France masterpiece was created by the respected French cheesemaker and affineur (cheese ager), Robert Rouzaire - also the creator of Pierre Robert. It's recognizable by the fern placed on top of the wheel which legend has it was initially placed to cover a blemish.
